Techniques for CollectorsIron Out vs Super Iron Out

6th Apr 2016 16:07 UTCTony H. Gill Expert

Thought I should share this with folks, in a dedicated thread;

Being UK based I managed to source "Iron Out" through Amazon however I noticed that it wasn't called "Super Iron Out". I contacted the manufacturer for clarification. I had read on certain threads that these are different products, this is what I recieved:

"Super Iron Out and Iron Out are the exact same product with the same formulation. Recently, Summit Brands rebranded Super Iron Out and is currently labeling the product as Iron Out."

Hope that helps clarify both a UK source and the formulation of the product

Always read the label for ingredients. I believe that they used to be different chemicals. I will try to make a point to read the labels next time I am in the hardware store (if it has them).
