I recently became aware of the "Recent Messages" link in forums and like many people when they find something new they want "more." I like this feature but when I go to "Best Minerals," it will not let me pick it. I think it would be great to pick one of the groups, like Best Minerals, and find the recent messages without going through 30 odd individual forums under it. Or is that too much indexing?

To get the recent message list for a particular forum, just open the general "Recent messages" list, and above the page is a drop down list box which allows you to chose any forums recent messages list.

I think Bill means that it would be nice to have the whole Best Minerals category as an option, rather than having to go through each one alphabetically, like it is currently.

Jim,

You are correct. There are too many letters plus the individual species.

Sorry, my misunderstanding; I posted in a bit of a hurry this afternoon as I was just about to go to a meeting. I do agree with the idea that it would be good if there could be some grouping and subheading of the list in the option box, especially as it is obviously going to get steadily longer.
