Links between photos of same specimens

Since a lot of pictures from dealers and others have been posted of now sold samples, lot of the buyers take a new picture of the same sample too to post - or samples are changing hands via swaps, etc... so there are a lot of samples with two pictures ore more here on mindat, and I wonder if there could be an easy way to link those pictures to each others?
It would be a kind of documentation of provenance...

I got the idea after looking at Lake George Antimony mine, seing two samples with two photos:
