Hi Tassos,
We are back in Scotland several weeks now.
We enjoyed our holiday in Polis and I did manage a few hours collecting.
I went over to Mansoura on Morphu Bay area a few times.
On a build site I discovered a ragged crevasse about 1.5 m x 0.5m completely lined with calcite xtals, together with pale gmelinite
to 6mm (not abundant) and small gin clean analcime, a thin green band ran through a lower part and where it showed crystalisation I think looks like prehnite.Other unidentified mins, perhaps tiny natrolite and others.
I hope the Hunterian Museum, Glasgow will help to I.D.
The road over the hill from Polis traverses volcanic rocks with abundant road cuttings to search, be careful though the rocks are very friable and will fall without any apparent reason.
Thanks to all who contacted me.

Hi Brian,
Glad to hear that your vist was fruitful. Please let us known the results of the I.D.
It appears that you were contacted by others before me but their messsages have since disappeared.
Next time you are in Cpyrus try Mitsero and Troulli mine areas for orange Gmelinite and other zeolites.
Meanwhile, I start my holidays in Polis next week and I'll try to locate an ellusive sulphide prospect where Galena was reported in the 60's however, zeolites are always a welcome find.
Becky, thanks for your message. I wasn't aware there is a collecting community here.

Hi Tassos, I don't live on Cyprus - I visited a few year ago and, with help from Volker Betz, found several good collecting sites. We visited the Mitsero mine, and also found wonderful zeolites in the pillow lavas in roadcuts on the road to Avdellero. I still don't know why our messages disappeared!
