Mamainse Point Mines and Copper area

Hello,

I am heading to Sault St Marie, or the Soo as we Canadians call it, to visit my inlaws and would like to spend some of my vacation collecting some copper and assoc minerals.
Does anyone know how accurate the GPS coordinates are on Mindat for the Mines in the area? I would like to hit all the sites in the area if I can. I have heard one site I believe, the Copper Corp mine has been pretty much rehabbed. Any help appreciated!!

Andrew.

They are as accurate as possible, I entered most of them. You can also see some of the workings from the satellite view on google.

Reiner,
Just a heads up. Nat and I won't be up there this year, but very likely next summer we will be in the Soo and I would love to visit Mamainse Point for some photos (since I've never been there) and maybe pick around a little for some copper from the other end of the Lake, so I may pick your brain a bit in the coming months..... grinning smiley
