I believe your blade is out of alignment. Clamp a pencil in the vice and put it right up to the blade at the very front. Make sure it is touching the blade at the front but not the diamond kerf. Now push the vice to the rear. If the pencil does not stay against the blade or if it pushes into the blade really hard the blade is not aligned front to back.
To adjust it you have to loose the arbor bolts and adjust it so that the pencil will run the length of the blade perfectly.
I hope that my directions help. If I didn't explain it well or if you have more questions just let me know. You can call me if you would like 801-355-7952.

I'll give that a try and see what happens. Thanks.

Another thing it could be, is the blade old and has no kerf left to it?

That was one of my first thoughts, but the blade is hardly used.

Ricks advice may get you sawing, you could also check:
Test that the rock sled is sliding freely past the blade. Check the motor to see if it is excessively hot. You could try to give the blade a sharpen by making a cut into an old grinding wheel. Are there any bearings or bushings that are worn? One other thing to try is flipping the blade.
