Azhure's Mysterious Unidentified Ring

I would like anyone's opinion on what the stone in this ring is. It is set in sterling silver and was bought at a consignment shop. The owner thought it was peridot but the color is all wrong. My guess is it is either Moldavite, Demantoid garnet or green tourmaline. Any other suggestions or confirmations would be a great help. The one strange aspect about the stone is that the overall dimension of the piece is flat.

Does it have a lot of "sparkle"? If so, it might be garnet or tourmaline. But given the color & cut, my 5c is on Moldavite.

No there isnt much sparkle, its very flat like moldavite has a tendency to look. It also has grainy inclusions when I looked at it under a microscope.

looks a lot like peridot to me, but who can be sure without doing some non invasive testing , so I suggest that you have a gemologist put it on a spectroscope and that will tell all in a minute.
