Just found some minerals
April 17, 2012 02:00PM
Hello all,

I just found some minerals at my girlfriend's parents home. All I know about them is they're from Cavnic - "Roata" mine around 1980 (This is in Romania)... grandfather of my girlfriend worked there at that time. So ... I want to sell these minerals. Can you help me please? What would be worth?

Here is the gallery link:

Thank you.

I didn't see anything over $100 and a lot of things potentially no more than $20. The colors looked really strange. If you could photograph them again but in sunlight think that would help a lot.

I looked at them but didn't see anything that was worth much. Most would sell for less than $10 each and even then it will not be easy to sell them. You would have to put a label with each of them, put them in a niece box and take a booth in a gem an mineral show.
