New here!
July 08, 2012 02:22AM
Hello everyone!
I’m new here and need help with the evaluation and identity of many rocks and minerals.
My first post is here so you can see it.
I understand that you will need the best info and pictures that I can offer but I have a couple of questions before we start.
1.Would you like me to use just one post for all items or start a new post for each item?
2.I am accustomed to Imperial units (inches/ounces) but can use Metric units. Which would the board prefer?
I have noticed a few of the same profile avatars in the topics that I will tend to frequent already, so if you see me; please help me out.

Thanks,
-Donny

We would like to see pictures of the entire specimen taken in normal sunlight with a ruler, inches or centimeters, either one is OK.

Hi again, Donny

It's a guess, but I think you'd get better response by posting one at a time - a single post with multiple items for ID might overwhelm and people may tend to pass it by. In my humble etc. etc...
