The last music I had on while "mineraling" (is that a word?) was Bo Diddley's Greatest Hits.

I listen to anything when working with my rocks. However, slightly off topic I had an MRI done yesterday and I requested that they play opera in the head phones, it made the procedure easier for me because the soprano sounded like she was in worse pain than I was.

just because we are rock people, doesn't mean it has to be Rock music, right?
I choose Progressive House B) or something a bit more ambient, depending on whether i'm actually breaking rocks or viewing through a microscope!

cheers, Colleen

Hi,

In tha past several days, while doing mineral things, I have listened to a variety of tunes and artists. Because I play the guitar I like instrumentals and have listened to...

The Ventures--Slaughter on 10th Avenue
The Shadows--Gonzalez
Duane Eddy--Lonely One, Ghost Riders
Mason Williams--Classical Gas
DeeDee Pick, Guitar Boogie Breakdown

Vocals,

Doo Wop
Stones
Falco
Rick James
MC Hammer--Der Kommisar, Super Freak and Hammer Time all sound similar.
Andrea Bocelli
Connie Francis
Desmond Decker and the Aces
Dickey Doo and the Don'ts

and more.

Best,

Joe

I have found that smooth jazz helps things run smoother, especially when you are struggling with the camera.
Tops of the list are Dotsero, Acoustic Alchemy
and the Rippingtons, especially the albums
Topaz and
Black Diamond.
