Nice crystal form, too. Too bad it has to be cut at all -- it would make a wonderful mineral specimen in a museum.

I agree Earl, but as long as collectors are not willing to pay the gem value for some crystals, the finest gem crystal will continue to be cut up and destroyed as has been the case for the last century or centuries-millenia.

It is indeed a great pity they are cutting it, unfortunately it is a bit out of my budget even if I chuck in my collections, land and horses sad smiley , would be quite a piece to have sitting in with the pink tourmalines though!
