Need any sites, stores, museums, etc. in San Diego
June 10, 2012 08:16PM
I'll be in San Diego for two weeks, from 11/2-11/16. I'd like to find any and all stores that sell minerals in San Diego or nearby. I'd like to see any collections in museums or on display (including schools, libraries, etc.) anywhere. Does anyone know of any shows in the area during that period? I'd welcome any and all sources or advice, since I have never been anywhere near San Diego in my life. I'll have a car, so travel is no problem.

Thanks.

There are two mineral shows in the area during that period. Because I am a dealer at both of the shows and it would be against message board etiquette for me to give a link to my web site, so please feel free to private message me for the show information.

And there are great mineral collections at the San Diego County and Los Angeles County museums.

Thank you, Steve! I wasn't able to find any lists of upcoming shows that went as far as November. How do I find your email? I'm not used to messaging on this site.

Thanks again,
Sister Elias
BTW, how did you get a photo of my cat Tara? ;0)
