Imagine Dr Seuss wrote mineral books. What would they be called? How about One Rock, Two Rocks, Red Rock, Blue Rock? Or Green Crystals with Matrix.

How about "The Catapleiite in the hat" or "Green thunder Eggs and Hambergite".

I thought the last stanza appropriate for the field collectors:

KID, YOU'LL MOVE MOUNTAINS!

So...
be your name Buxbaum or Bixby or Bray
or Mordecai Ali Van Allen O'Shea,
you're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting.
So...get on your way!

Don't laugh Steve, but once in college some of us got really jacked up on coffee and skittles and came up with "One schist, two schist, greenschist, blueschist"!! I'm sure it had some scientific importance........ grinning smiley
