I haven't been able to find this TV series on any stations here in NJ. Does anyone know if it will be available on TV any time in the future?

Where did you hear about the show?

The Mineralogical Record occasionally sends DVDs to subscribers of the magazine. One of those DVDs ("Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium 2015") included an episode of the show and I found it to be very interesting. Apparently it will soon be entering their second season and I'd like to find it if it's going to be playing in the NY/NJ area. Any know?

PBS carries the show, so watch their schedule for dates and times. This would be Season 2, but I don't know when it starts.

The PBS website says only that season 2 is coming summer 2016. Given that summer 2016 is pretty much done....I'd say the show is about done, too. IMHO it was pretty awful. I expected more from PBS.

Thanks Don. I'll be looking for it.

Thanks guys, my response (in my opinion) was kinda mediocre to crappy.

Now does anyone know where I can watch any episodes for free before buying an episode(s) on Vimeo or buying the DVD of Season 1?

If you Google the show, I believe one of the options is to stream the Series I episodes.

Individual state & local PBS affiliates decide which shows to carry on their stations, so even though the series may be available to them from national PBS, your local station(s) may or may not carry it. Some programs can be streamed online. If your PBS station doesn't carry it, check the website of PBS, a local station anywhere in the country that does carry it, or the company/station that produces the series.

Actually it (season 2) seems to be running now (maybe only on streaming media)

The second season is running on the PBS Create channel. Last night I saw one of the new episodes. They finished out the episode with an old video of Rock Currier telling about his time in South America where he crossed a stream in a Beetle (unfortunately they ended up misspelling his name).
