Hi,
The Topaz article will become extremely large so....
Shall we split the (yet to be made...) Topaz article, f.i. have one article for each continent.
Topaz-Europe, Topaz-Asia, Topaz-Africa, Topaz-America, Topaz-Australasia.
I think the articles will be much better loadable and legible this way.
I can do Europe.
Maybe Ralph is interested in doing Australasia, Rock for the Americas
Anyone interested in doing Africa or Asia (Bill
?
Cheers
Harjo

Harjo,
Yes you can split it that way if you wish. I personally would just work away on it till it got to big and then split it. Doing it this way may give you an insight about how else you might wish to tackle the job. When I did Quartz, USA it was not clear at all about how to split it up. Also keep in mind these divisions we make are most likely just temporary and that the data and pictures we accumulate in these articles my end up in another format entirely.

I started the Topaz thing, Germany is done, tomorrow will see the rest of Europe.
I think it might be possible to squeeze it all into one article. So, feel free to add the Aussie bit to my article Ralph, and the same counts for anyone who feels the urge to add a small Topaz country like Pakistan...

I decided to split up the Topaz article.
Upon finishing the draft of Europe I realised that already Europe was quite large......
So, now we have Topaz, Europe (incorporating European Russia), Topaz, Asia (incorporating Asian Russia), Topaz, America (North, Middle and South), Topaz, Africa and Topaz, Australasia.
I already finished the draft of Europe and I've created the other topics including headers, feel free to have a go at them
Cheers,
Harjo

Harjo, I think splitting up topaz by continents is not a good idea. If you have topaz from some strange countries, some users will not know for sure what continent those countries are in and will have to look in two or three places for them. Also all the rest of the split articles that have been done so far are not split in that manner, but rather alphabetically by country like Angola to Namibia or Alabama to Nebraska etc. and I think we should not break with that format. I would continue on in one article alphabetically and if the article gets too big, then split it into two at that point.
