Mineral ShowsWifi at the Tucson show?

9th Nov 2011 04:17 UTCHershel Friedman

Does anybody know if the Tucson convention center will provide Wifi Internet during the TGMS show?

Cheaper to pay via your phone provider.

Sadly the convention center doesn't provide much of anything to anyone. And even getting good cell phone reception usually requires a step outside.

I had once heard that there was free wifi at the show but I guess judging by these responses that its not the case.

The City of Tucson is totally strapped for cash. Take a look at their parking lot in front of the convention center. You can hardly see the stripes on the cracked asphalt that they charge you ???$$$ a day to park in. It will be sometime before they invest in Wyfi I fear.
