Gerald:
I used to visit Lapidary Journal's website for listings. Not all shows are listed.
Orlando's club show is decent. The annual fossil hunter's show is also at the fairgrounds in Orlando; it is very small. Club shows in Melbourne and Jacksonville are bigger and better. Some of the club shows in South FL (Ft. Lauderdale etc.) are supposed to be good, but I don't get that far south, so I can't speak to them. The Vero Beach club show is small but decent, as is the Ft. Pierce. The Merritt Island club show is very small. The club show in DeLand is moderate size, but often has good dealers, so I'm always glad I went.
There are also a few traveling shows put on by independent promoters. F. C. is the main one; E. M. is another. These shows can be decent, but tend to have the same set of dealers each time.
When you go to a show, make sure to fill out a raffle card, and you will get reminder cards in the mail for the next show!
