Improving Mindat.orgUrgent request to rectify my mistake.

14th Jun 2012 13:24 UTCStephen Eglinton

Hi Jolyon.

Would you please rectify my blunder by removing / deleting the "download address" i wrongly posted in my message to Gene.:-(

It is posted in the Message Board: Mineral Photography section: under "Cold Light Unit" subject heading. And located at the bottom of Page 1.

Owen Lewis alerted me to my error... at top of Page 2.

BIG thank you to Owen!!!(tu)

I would be awfully indebted.

Steve, can't you edit your messages ? do you not see the edit button ?

14th Jun 2012 19:12 UTCStephen Eglinton

Hi Debbie,

Yes, i tried editing but with no effect. The message still stands, unaltered. And i am told editing will not work on something that has already been posted. So i was hoping someone at Mindat might have been able to delete it. Never mind, i suppose no real harm has occurred.

I've removed the link.

It wouldn't have done any harm, it would just not have worked.

Many thanks Amir for your trouble. I am very grateful.

Steve.
