The two marvelous celestine photos and specimens for the Rockport quarry, Alpena, Alpena County, Michigan are wrongly attributed. They are from the Holloway quarry, Newport, Monroe County, Michigan. The Holloway is sometimes known as the Rockwood quarry and I think that the Rockwood/Newport connection led to these specimens wrongly being attributed to the Rockport quarry at Alpena. Thanks!

I have added a note to the locality description. Not that I think that it will really help much to prevent mis-attributions (experience tells that only a minority of our contributors do actually read the locality descriptions), but, if it happens again, we can positively tell them that it would not have happened if they had read the description. This will help them to learn the lesson ...

Peter, it might be better if your note goes on the Rockport page, rather than the Holloway page, as the former is the one contributors will mistakenly go to..
