Improving Mindat.orgAltyn Tyube locality

18th Oct 2014 14:00 UTCHarry Zondervan

Altyn Tyube is registered in the Karaganda Province.

In the Mineralogical Record sep-october 1995 (Russian localities) it is said to be in the South Kazakhstan Oblast (Province) near Tashkent.

This link:

you can see there is a Altyn Tyube in Uzbekistan, SW of Saryagash (in Kazakhstan) and near Tashkent

So probably the Altyn Tyube deposit is on the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan border but in Kazakhstan as the article of Joylon says.

But it is not in the Karaganda Province but in the South Kazakhstan Province and in the Saryagash District.

Sincerely,

Harry Zondervan
