Improving Mindat.orgError in photo-ID ?

30th May 2006 23:04 UTCKnut Eldjarn 🌟 Manager

The photo no. 3510 is identified as "Rutile", but the crystals look clearly like Anatase. If they do not represent a pseudomorph of Rutile after Anatase ( which is known from Brazil but as far as I know not from the White Mts. in California) , the description should be changed.

I have changed the Id. I also talked to my father and the the Rutile ID was from the original Mathiasins Label from the 1960s that came with the specimen.
