To Alan. Could you send some pictures of the best samples? I would be interested in buy one or two samples. Could you send your swap list? My mail is blood_stone@portugalmail.com.

Alan & Luis,
I completely forgot about checking back this topic - my Lengenbach specimens are still available. Actually, I'd preferred to swap them, but I also could sell them - I'm sure we will find some agreement. The stuff was part of my systematic collection which I did largely sort out some time ago (is anyone of you interested in a 3 x 4 cm specimen of jamesonite from Wolfsberg, Harz Mts ?)
I'm still interested in a good Panasqueira siderite (it doesn't have to be a large one) or - even better - calcite specimens from Weardale.
Peter

I have a few specimens from the Taylor pit, but only the Sterryite is visually identifiable. Most large xls from there x-rayed as Veenite. That is the best one can do visually. If you analyse a xl you know what it is, but you know nothing about the one a mm away in matrix. By the way the Sterryite powder pattern has some strong similarities to owyheeite. They are probably related.

well i dont know what sterryite is, but anthing visual would be nice, i dont know if anything i have is good enough to trade, heres some thing i can think of.
specimens may fit in miniature boxes, from bancroft:
hexagonal calcite prisms; roadcut,
a titanite from bear lake,
feldspar xls w/fluormagnesiokatophorite from bear lk
tremolite xls frome graphite road in matrix (small cabinet)
nice peristerite from watson mine, hybla area mine, bancroft
possible REE andradite from Macdonald mine, no analysis done yet on my specimen, but likely andradite.
barrel shape corundum from Logan rock cut, Bancroft (TN to miniature)
Fluormagnesiokatophorite from bear lake (TN)
have cyrtolite in matrix and single from Davis quarry,
dont remember what else i got till i go to my parents house.

I'm quite serious about cm sized xls of Lengenbach sulfosalts.
Peter, Have you x-rayed your wolfsberg jamesonite? If not, you may be in for a surprise- Dadsonite!
Matt, It's kind of you to offer good grenville material, but I'm interested in elements and sulfides. After 40 years of collecting systematically elements and sulfides in the best state of crystallization possible on a 4x6 cm matrix, I am now looking for undamaged cm sized xls of elements and sulfides on 4x6 cm matrix.
