15th Oct 2013 09:56 UTCJolyon Ralph Founder

We're looking for a few minerals for research, this research will result in more accurate data being added to mindat.org

If you have spare pieces suitable for research (they don't have to be pretty!) of any of the following then please let me know. I'll be adding to this list from time to time.

Donations preferred, of course, but there is some small budget for purchase of necessary specimens.

Antimonselite

Argutite

Artoeite

Barberiite

Butschliite

Eitelite

Clinoenstatite

Ferruccite

Geikielite

Grandreefite

Hatrurite

Hydrohalite

Kalsilite

Lacroixite

Langebeinite

Larnite

Litharge

Para-alstonite

Para-tellurite

Malladrite

Reidite

Rorisite

Thanks in advance.

We likely have several of these in the inventory and can make research donations via the Hudson Institute of Mineralogy. Send shipping details....

Glenn Rhein has confirmed geikielite from his find in Amity. I'll reach out to him.

I have a few tiny chunks of barberiite intergrown with cryptohalite, mostly sitting in sulphur.
