Can you help make this a better article? What good localities have we missed? Can you supply pictures of better specimens than those we show here? Can you give us more and better information about the specimens from these localities? Can you supply better geological or historical information on these localities?
Stibiotantalite
Sb(Ta,Nb)O4
Here will go a selected image of a fine specimen of Stibiotantalite and come comments about the species in general.
Here will go the first described locality, images of Stibiotantalite from that locality and some text about the specimens from this locality if anything is known.

Richie,
Take what ever time you need. We are vary patient here in Best minerals. We all get pulled away with other business or interests from time to time. I am currently trying to finish photo shopping all the images of localities I have taken over the years and may be done in the next couple of weeks. Then I can start uploading them to mindat. That should not take more than a couple of years.

The best minerals forums are an ongoing encyclopedic effort to describe the better specimens of all mineral species from all localities and I think you request for technical mineralogical information would be better made in one of the other forums here on mindat. I would suggest you re-post it in perhaps the Mineralogical Classification forum. I fear that here it will not get the attention it deserves.

Palelni and Letpanhla mines in Burma produces high quality stibiotantalite crystals:

The last specimen in my collection for the moment, but Ziggi Ellenberger's photos are in any case better of my poor scans.
