I would like to see a new forum for meteor enthusiasts and the minerals related to them; iron meteorites, stony meteors, carboniforous, lunar metoers, mars meteors, chondrites, acondrites, collection locals like the polar regeons, salt lakes, sand dunes etc. bolides and impact sites, impact brechias, moldavites and associated thermal melts. thin section spectroscopy photos. more....- MB

Una fotografia bisogna leggerla, inutile fare mille complimenti quando questa magari ha dominanti di colore sbagliate, troppo contrasto etc... perchè già questo basta per rovinarla

Are there any international meteorite collector forums on the web? (Somewhat surprisingly, the Meteoritical Society doesn't have one, although it says "The website is to be further developed over the next year to include a members only site featuring resources, discussion forums and message posts.".)

I am real comfy with the format here I think Mindat is the place to do this new deed, cool that I am not alone. I do belong to a few groups at Yahoo but its a real pain navigating there so I tend not to plus I like all the good stuff in one store so to speak, He he........smileys with beer

For people interested in meteorites, check out the The Meteorite List. It could be a bit tough sometimes as there are some fighting going on from time to time, but it is filled with a lot of knowledge and very helpful people.

I've been a member of the list for a couple of years now and I have learned very much in that time.

Btw, meteorites are so much more fun than meteors, meteor is stones that never makes it through the atmosphere.
