Found this on a hike in New Mexico about 12 years ago.

Ok after some help in a chat room I now have a modified streak plate. After a few questions and tests it was determined by another that my meteorite is actually from this planet and is commonly called Hematite. Being non magnetic and leaving a brick red streak on the streak plate. Thanks for the help.
