This afternoon a friend ask me help for identify a stone that was brought from Morocco a few time ago. To me it looks like a meteorite, but as I know almost nothing about these fascinating rocks from space, I came here and I ask for your opinion. Thank you very much for your comment.
I can provide this data:
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Purchase Date: Summer 2010
Density: ± 6-7
Measures: 18 x 16 x 8 cm.
Weight: 4.5 Kg
Magnetic: no
No bubbles but a few small holes (see photos).
Do not let trace on paper.
Here are the pictures:

I made a mistake when weighting the piece with a personal scale: the right weight is 4055 g and volume is exactly 1000 cm3 then density is 4, not 6 - 7 as I said at the beginning, very sorry.
Anyway my question is answered: is not a meteorite but a slag or, in the best case, a hematite or goethite aggregate.
My friend will be happy: he loves the fakes! he has an incredible collection of fake minerals from Morocco! Thanks to all for your help.
