Poudrette quarry (Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Desourdy quarry), Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada

Anatase crystals from material I obtained at a local Detroit-area show back in 1999, and finally cleaned and imaged. Associated minerals include pyrite, calcite, quartz and albite. Image is about 2 mm in length. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.

Tysse, Odda, Hardangervidda, Hordaland, Norway

Anatase crystal is about 9 mm. It was photographed by Steve Stuart with a Sony DCS-S50 digital camera using the macro setting. The specimen is in his collection. The anatase is dark blue in color.
