Clear fluorapatite hexagonal prism with green phantom. Photo is about 4.3 mm in length. The fluorapatite fluoresces orange under SW UV light. Self-collected in 2000.

A three-lobed rosette of pale blue apatite-(CaF) about 6 mm across. Specimen was collected by Chad Cramer in July 2009. He included it in Box # 4 of the Great MinDat Micro-swap, from which I selected it for my collection. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.

Curiously zoned apatite-(CaF) crystals associated with quartz on a specimen I acquired at the 2009 Detroit Mineral Show. The specimen was collected by Marc and Debra Wilson in 1981. Clear pseudo-cuboctahedral crystal of apophyllite. Photo is 2.5 mm in length and was taken by Steve Stuart. The specimen is in his collection. Associated minerals are albite, arfvedsonite and numerous others not yet identified.
