A lustrous, metallic foil-like, golden-bronze astrophyllite blade from a famous Colorado locality - St. Peters Dome. Astrophyllite is a RARE titanium silicate and this is an LARGE, outstanding, free-standing crystal of the species and locality. Ex. Dick Jones Collection and certainly an older specimen. |

Associating minerals are dark-brown Cyrtolite xls (red arrowed on the one of daughter photos), K-feldspars, Aegirine and Quartz. Specimen size is 7.5x5x3 cm.
