Spriggs Creek Bore, Harts Ranges (Hartz Ranges), Northern Territory, Australia

A nice long Beryl collected in 2008 from near Spriggs Creek Bore, Harts Range.
The crystal was completely encased in white quartz which has been carefully removed to expose the specimen. The Beryl measures 90mm tall x 11mm wide.

Beryl (Var: Aquamarine) : Be3Al2Si6O18

Harding Springs, Harts Ranges (Hartz Ranges), Northern Territory, Australia

Recently collected in 2009, this large and gemmy Beryl crystal measures 165mm long x 35mm wide. It was found in weathered pegmatite near in the vicintiy of Harding Springs. The crystal has since been re-joined as it came out of the quartz in 3 sections. Many other fractured but gemmy crystals were collected from the pegmatite. One of the finest ...

Recently collected in 2009, this large Beryl crystal measures 100mm long x 50mm wide. It was found in weathered pegmatite near in the vicintiy of Harding Springs. The crystal has since been repaired as it came out of the quartz in several sections. Many other fractured but gemmy crystals were collected from the pegmatite.
