4.4 x 0.4 x 0.4 cm. A gemmy, blue, doubly terminated, Colorado aquamarine crystal from the 1960s and the much less well-known Mt. White, near Mt. Antero. Ex. Doughty and Hauck Collections. Weighs 7.38 carats.

Phenakite : Be2[SiO4]

2.5 x 2.5 x 1.9 cm. Phenakite is an uncommon beryllium silicate found in granite pegmatites and schists. This glassy, translucent and colorless, euhedral crystal has both stepped-growth and striated faces. This is a large, for the species, Colorado crystal and hails from the much less common Mt.
