Large cluster of green actinolite crystals in beautiful, curving fan-shaped formations up to 5 cm. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #M878. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-5 cm.

This is a typical actinolite for the locality. The largest fan is 7 cm, whereas the specimen is 10x7x3 cm.

Hairlike actinolite needles gives this specimen a silk like feeling and lustre. The specimen are 7x11x2 cm, whereas the individul hairs are up to 2,5 cm.

Aeschynite-Y to 1,5 cm showing typical mineral association. The crystal appears perpendicular to the cleavage plane of biotite mica, growing into the surrounding microcline.

2 ea perfectly terminated Aescynite-Y crystals from Slobrekka Iveland. The crystals are each 2.5 cm long. Aeschynite-Y noprmally occurs together with biotite mica in feldspar.
