Hilltop Mine, Organ District, Doña Ana Co., New Mexico, USA This specimen consists of a massive Sphalerite matrix that hosts several masses and rich veins of silvery Altaite. It was difficult capture just how rich the Altaite was in the pictures since the Sphalerite is so lustrous; it is, however, very apparent in person. Specimen measures 6.15cm x 3.64cm x 3.33cm. |
