Khaash, Badakhshan (Badakshan; Badahsan) Province, Afghanistan

5.1 x 4.6 x 3.8 cm. This specimen is comprised of several medium blue green, prismatic crystals of Emerald intermixed with Quartz and Feldspar. The crystals are only translucent, but they are still very attractive and this is classic material. The largest crystal measures 2.0 cm.
