Dache (Dassu; Dasu; Haramosh-Dassu; Dacha), Haramosh Mts., Gilgit District, Northern Areas, Pakistan 19.4 x 15.5 x 10.1 cm. OK, this one boggled minds at Denver. It fooled me, and it fooled numerous people...nobody guessed blue albite crystals. The identity was finally settled by analysis at the University of Arizona. It seems to be a one-of-a-kind. I have seen no others of this material while waiting for this one to be cleaned and returned to ... |
