St John's Colliery, Maesteg, Bridgend (Mid Glamorgan; Glamorgan), Wales, UK

Intergrown, greenish, oxydised millerite sprays 10mm across in a siderite and quartz lined cavity in ironstone. The greenish coating is possibly nickelhexahydrite, which has recently been identified coating millerite from elsewhere in the coalfield. Ian Jones collection, collected February 1996.
