Fluorite : CaF2

Yuma Co., Arizona, USA

This bizarre Fluorite looks like an Aztec city but is actually comprised of modified octahedrons of CaF2 of course. The terminations appear natural although quite unusual- like windows into the temple. I wish I had another one of these it is just so fascinating! About 6.5 cm across and in the personal collection of J. Wingard.
