Vuggy matrix filled with sparkling blue azurite crystals. Under magnification the azurite is seen as translucent and well crystallized. Very lustrous. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: .5-1 mm.

A vug of azurite druzy. I spent 2 hours with a friend retrieving this from the cieling just 10 feet into the underground access at the bottom of the pit. We each took half.

4.5cm x 4.5cm.
