Zephyria, Milos Island (Melos), Cyclade Islands (Cyclades; Kikladhes; Nomos Kikladhon), Kykládes Prefecture, Aegean Islands (Aiyaíon) Department, Greece A 6cm wide bowl-shaped pocket in altered rhyolite tuff lined with 1.5-2mm sulfur crystals. Interestingly, sulfur only lines the top halves of the pockets at this location. Coin is 2.4cm. Collected and photographed by Keith Wood. |
