Cut, not polished section of drill-core with diameter 6 cm. Grains of very dark coloured deep marine-blue Fe-rich serendibite in green granular plagioclase-diopside skarn. Coarse grains are almost black, while more fine-grained agregates of serendibite have bluish colour. Selfcollected in August of 1984 from drill-hole #438 on interval 441-444 m. ...

Section of drill-core with diameter 6 cm. Grains of very dark coloured, megascopicaly almost black Fe-rich serendibite in green granular diopside skarn. Only under some magnification deep marine-blue inner reflections are visible in such serendibite. Selfcollected in August of 1984 from drill-hole #438 on interval 441-444 m. Pavel M. Kartashov ...
