Tipperary, Ireland Large dull-grey bournonite crystal to front of specimen as viewed, blue-grey galena crystals and gemmy orange-red sphalerite crystals on a mostly pyrite matrix. The luster is very good, but what makes this such a great specimen are the dodecahedral modifications. Normally, the rhombal faces are square, with the hexagonal faces nowhere close to equilateral. Mogul Mine (Garryard), Silvermines District, Co. Tipperary, Ireland Classic, sharp twinned crystal of galena with minor pyrite from the old lead mining district of Tipperary County, Ireland.
