Muiâne pegmatite, Alto Ligonha District, Zambezia Province, Mozambique A gemmy, lustrous, hexagonal, double terminated single crystal, 4.5 cm long. The body color is a greenish-brown changing to light green near the pyramidal termination. Both the pyramid and pedion are capped with a thin pink layer. |

Muiâne pegmatite, Alto Ligonha District, Zambezia Province, Mozambique Loose singly terminated translucent crystal of elbaite variety rubellite of a nice pink to red color with a greenish composite termination. Very little damage. Specimen size: 6x2.1x2 cm. |
