Two almandine garnet crystals exposed in the center of a quartz nodule from an unusual alluvial deposit. The garnet crystals are nicely exposed showing almost half the largest crystal. This is one of the best specimens I have ever had from this location. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3x2.5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 13-22 mm.

Large single crystal of dark red almandine garnet without matrix. The crystal has minor imperfection in the form, however ity is complete on all faces. Good large crystal from this unusual deposit. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x4x3.5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4 cm.
