Overall size 3x2x2 cm. Colourless coesite nodule of 2 mm. on pyrope matrix. Typical sample of high pressure methamorfism. It was formed at 100 km. of depth under the ground’s level. It is visible the typical radial cracking. Photo and private collection of Marco Macchieraldo.
