Colorful Myrickite specimen from the north end of the Napa Knoxville Recreation Area. I actually dug this out of the road.
The specimen was taken out in four large pieces.
This one is largest at 6"x5"x5".

Magnesite : MgCO3

Napa Co., California, USA

Stacked colorless slightly translucent crystals of magnesite to 1.6 cm mostly covering matrix. Very tiny chipping is present but I think overall this is in good condition. Neat locality piece for the species. Ex Gene and Sally LaBerge collection. Size: 7.1 x 4.1 x 4.0 cm

7.0 x 5.2 x 3.8 cm. Splendent, intergrown, jackstraw stibnite clusters form a very fine specimen from the well-known and long defunct McLaughlin Mine of California. Ex. Paul Harter Collection.
