Large cluster of scalenohedral calcite crystals with gray inclusions of microscopic marcasite. The specimen was cleaned in dilute acid to remove surface coating - the crystals are lustrous with rounded edges. Overall size of mineral specimen: 10x7x6 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm.

Old specimen of sharp, well crystallized marcasite crystals up to 6 mm. This specimen dates to ca.1960 and shows no sign of deterioration. Ex. Magill collection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 34x18x10 mm. Size of individual crystals: 3-6 mm.
