Danburite : CaB2Si2O8

Single crystal of colorless danburite with complex crystal termination. The upper third of the crystal is water-clear (could be used as facet rough for skilled facetor). Minor nicks in a few places. Overall size of mineral specimen: 42x19x12 mm. Size of individual crystals: 42 mm.

Rich cluster of many danburite crystals up to 4 cm long intergrown with milky calcite crystals up to 12 mm. Many of the danburite crystals are exposed at the terminations showing glassy crystal faces. Minor nicks in 2 of the crystals. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4-40 mm.
