Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, Mexico Gorgeous, sherbert-green, super lustrous, spherical clusters of adamite contrast nicely with a matrix of white aragonite. The largest sphere is 1.5 cm across. The crystals actually glow as if they were radioactive , with neon color! This small pocket found a few years ago is just awesome, and unique for the species. This is one of the best ... |

Chihuahua, Mexico Very difficult to shoot, but this is a HUGE, lustrous compound crystal of garnet from Mexico. The faces are extremely sharp and lustrous, and these fine faces cover the entire display face (the back is a natural contact where removed from the matrix). 10.0 x 6.8 x 4.9 cm |

La Prieta Mine, Chihuahua, Mexico 7 x 7 x 6 cm. A cluster of intergrown garnet crystals, reaching to 2.5 cm across, glow with a splendent luster. The crystals appear black but have gemmy orange highlights when lit well. It is about the brightest garnet lustre I have seen. They glisten with intense almost-metallic luster. |
