Mt. Pyramide, Spitsbergen, Svalbard, Norway Yellow, acicular hoelite crystals to about 0,5 mm on matrix. This specimen, from the collection of the Mineralogical Museum in Oslo, might be the only Norwegian hoelite-specimen in existence. It is about 2,5 cm long and consists of hoelite crystals on Sal Ammoniac. The hoelite was formed during a mine fire in a coal mine. |
